Law school wasn’t what Jennifer had envisioned.

She constantly felt sized up by her Columbia Law School classmates, who would quiz each other daily on how much they had studied or how far they had gotten on a class outline. Sleep and healthy eating got short shrift, as many students studied late into the night fueled on caffeine and candy. The law firm on-campus interviewing season was especially stressful. She listened to students trumpeting their multiple summer-associate job offers while others despaired over their dearth of bids.
