Covington & Burling will open an office in Los Angeles after poaching two partners from West Coast-centric firms, closing its San Diego office and relocating lawyers, the firm said.
Covington says it will place about 15 lawyers in Los Angeles. The partners will focus on four practice areas: patent litigation, insurance, media and entertainment law, and white-collar and investigations.
