Amazon urged the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit on Thursday to vacate what the online retailer called a vague National Labor Relations Board-spurred court order forbidding the company from firing workers for union organizing.

The NLRB won the cease-and-desist order under Section 10 (j) of the National Labor Relations Act, which enables the agency to seek temporary injunctions against employers in federal courts to stop unfair labor practices while complaints are litigated before administrative law judges.
