Virginia firm Williams Mullen has aggressively added to its head count in the last month, adding 16 attorneys in all, including attorney groups from Norfolk-based Pierce McCoy and Richmond-based business firm KVCF.

The additions are part of Williams Mullen’s growth strategy, focused on expanding its bench in key markets such as Richmond; Hampton Roads; Raleigh, North Carolina; and Tysons, Virginia, the firm’s leader said. The roughly 250-attorney law firm, ranked No. 178 in the Am Law 200, was founded in Richmond, Virginia.
