Jenner & Block has brought on Anand Viswanathan, a veteran attorney of the Federal Energy  Regulatory Commission, who will be special counsel in its Washington, D.C., office.

He’s the latest Big Law energy practice hire, as recent regulatory changes and enforcement activity under the Biden administration have created more clean energy and environmental work for law firms. He’s also the third addition to Jenner’s practice within the past 12 months. John Estes and Niqui Kohli both joined the firm as partners in D.C. and New York, respectively.
