Chicago plaintiffs boutique Edelson has announced its expansion to Ann Arbor, Michigan, with the addition of a new partner who will also co-lead the firm’s antitrust practice. The expansion into Michigan follows a rapid growth path—the firm also recently opened an office in Idaho and added 26 new legal and technical staff overall since the launch of its Washington, D.C., bureau in 2022.

Natasha J. Fernández-Silber, who will head the Ann Arbor office, joins Edelson from Radice Law Firm, bringing a decade of legal experience with focus on antitrust litigation including the recent case against Juul Labs. While the firm’s strategy has always been to hire based on talent rather than specific needs, “we do anticipate significant growth in our trial team, antitrust group, governmental affairs team, and environmental practice,” Edelson founder Jay Edelson told NLJ.
