Veterans attorneys say they anticipate an influx of disability claims work following President Joe Biden’s signing of the Honoring Our PACT Act of 2022, though they said it won’t be the same torrent of litigation currently brewing around Camp Lejeune water contamination.

While a section of the PACT Act establishing a cause of action for Camp Lejeune victims has prompted law firms across the United States to seek out potential plaintiffs, lawyers who handle Veterans Affairs claims say they’re still looking out for how the expanded benefits for veterans will unfold.
