The U.S. Supreme Court, raising the stakes in the current term, on Wednesday said it will hear challenges to the Biden administration’s vaccine-or-test requirements for health care workers and large employers.

The addition of the controversial pandemic-related vaccine rules intensifies scrutiny of the court because of its closely-watched docket of cases involving abortion, guns and religion as well as ongoing debates over reforming the Supreme Court.
