Need any more evidence that some form of remote advocacy is here to stay?

The business litigation group at Sheppard Mullin is focusing its main annual training program this year on remote virtual mediation. The group plans to have about a half-dozen Zoom training sessions covering issues such as confidentiality, writing a settlement agreement, negotiation tactics, working with clients and mediator styles. Then this fall, teams of associates and special counsel grouped by seniority will team up to handle mock mediations over Zoom, with partners playing the role of mediators and clients.
