Shutts & Bowen’s executive committee recently named commercial litigator Jack McElroy firmwide managing partner. The Orlando-based attorney succeeds Michael “Micky” Grindstaff, a real estate partner in the same office who took the role in 2014.

In an interview, McElroy said he was tapped by the firm’s executive committee to become managing partner last year, but McElroy, Grindstaff, and the committee thought it best to maintain the existing leadership at the height of the pandemic.
