Trial was just four months away when a team from Sullivan & Cromwell led by David Tulchin and Thomas White parachuted in to save the day for medical device maker Micro System Engineering Inc.

Last week, a federal judge in Albany, New York didn’t even wait to send the case to the jury. After six days of trial—and before either side delivered closing arguments—he dismissed plaintiff Universal Instruments Corp.’s case in its entirety.
