On Thursday, Denver-based Proof Technologies, which offers an app that streamlines service of process and e-filing, announced that it raised $30.4 million in a series B funding round led by Long Ridge Equity Partners. Participating in the round were Blue Heron Capital and The LegalTech Fund, which recently also invested in contract drafting and negotiation platform provider Spellbook and artificial intelligence-powered contract collaboration platform The Contract Network.

The new investment comes almost two years after Proof closed on a $7 million series A funding round also led by Blue Heron Capital, and including The LegalTech Fund and Clio Ventures, the investment arm of practice management provider Clio.
