Intel legal operations director Andy Krebs announced Monday on LinkedIn that he is leaving the Santa Clara, California-based chip-maker to accept the same role at the San Francisco-based communications software-maker Twilio.

Krebs had been with Intel since 2001, beginning as a planning analyst. He will start at Twilio on Aug. 8, succeeding Susan Packal, who left in May to become vice president of legal operations at the cybersecurity startup Snyk.
