Editor’s note: On May 23, the Texas Lawyer editorial department hosted a roundtable discussion called “Clients, Cases and the Courtroom: Winning Tips From Top Trial Lawyers” at the Cityplace Conference & Event Center in Dallas. The panelists included Dallas lawyer Lisa Blue, a partner in Baron and Blue in Dallas, and Mark Lanier, founder of the Houston-based Lanier Law Firm.
Blue and Lanier discussed a wide range of topics, including trial preparation, the advantages of scaled questions, how to regroup during a case, and use of PowerPoint presentations and other technology at trial. The first installment of the roundtable discussion appeared in the June 18 issue of Texas Lawyer.
