On Nov. 3, 2010, four plaintiffs who claimed multiple injuries in an intersection crash agreed to a $67,400 settlement. In 2007, Amanda Brinks was driving in El Paso with her two children and their grandmother. They claimed that they were going through an intersection when they were struck by Jason Shirazi who didn’t have the right of way. Brinks claimed cervical strains and soft-tissue injuries to her right shoulder. The grandmother claimed biceps tendonitis. The 9-year-old daughter claimed a cervical sprain and soft-tissue injuries. The 15-year-old daughter claimed a compression fracture at T8 and lumbar and cervical strains.??
