On Oct. 13, a jury awarded $96,680 to a man who claimed back and neck injuries in a left-turn crash. In 2007, Danny Isonhood was heading west in a pickup truck on Texas Highway 154 in Upshur County. Daniel Couture was heading east in a sedan. Couture turned left in front of Isonhood, who struck Couture’s passenger side. Isonhood claimed neck and back sprains and strains and post-traumatic stress disorder.
