Even if you work in a legal organization that does not supply tablets, you may still need to push e-content. It’s crucial to have necessary legal information and resources available wherever the firm’s legal personnel work — that is, in just about any country and in multiple time zones.
Some 40-plus years ago, the first online databases of Westlaw and LexisNexis launched to a skeptical reception. Now we can’t imagine life without online databases, because we could and did give up our print reporters with little outrage.
