A preliminary approval of a class action settlement in the Western District of Pennsylvania will come with a free ticket to an amusement park — and not much else.

The proposed settlement in Hanlon v. Palace Entertainment Holdings would bring to an end a lawsuit filed by a group of park-goers who said Palace Entertainment and Festival Fun Parks violated the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act by printing out receipts at the point-of-sale terminals that contained the expiration date of customers’ credit and debit cards.
