A Westchester, N.Y., gas station has been fined $2,000 and enjoined from again taking advantage of a market disruption as it did by gouging its customers during Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath.

But Westchester Supreme Court Justice Jonathan Lippman, in People v. My Service Center, 21157-06, ruled out requiring the owner of the New Rochelle station to reimburse its customers for amounts they were overcharged.
