James Comey is leaving his job as general counsel of Lockheed Martin to take a position at a hedge fund in Westport, Conn.

In a statement released Wednesday afternoon, the aerospace contractor said that Comey would remain in his current position through June 24 before joining Bridgewater Associates to take what Lockheed CEO Robert Stevens described as “a key leadership position with totally different responsibilities.”
