SAN FRANCISCO A team of plaintiffs lawyers from four Southern California firms have moved for attorney fees in a giant wage-and-hour case that, if awarded, would net them nearly $30 million.
The lawyers, led by Drew Pomerance of Roxborough, Pomerance, Nye & Adreani of Woodland Hills, won their wage-and-hour case against American Commercial Security Services Inc. on a summary adjudication motion in July, when Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge John Wiley awarded the plaintiffs nearly $90 million for claims that the class of 15,000 security guards were deprived of meal and rest breaks.
