SAN FRANCISCO — After languishing for nine years under seal in Santa Clara County Superior Court, the accidental voicemail left by a former general counsel for Marvell Semiconductor Inc. — allegedly capturing trade-secret theft in action — was finally played for a jury today.
It was an anticlimatic moment: It was hard to hear what was actually being said, as multiple voices could be heard talking over each other. A transcript prepared by Jasmine, however, quotes Marvell’s former general counsel, Matthew Gloss, saying “Sehat doesn’t go to jail.
