SAN FRANCISCO — An unpublished ruling by Sacramento’s Third District Court of Appeal in March was short and sweet, but it contained enough juice to catch the California Supreme Court’s attention.
The high court on Wednesday granted review in the case that the appellate court had dispatched in slightly more than two pages.
