Loeb & Loeb has recruited the head of the outsourcing practice from Thelen.

Kenneth A. Adler will also lead an outsourcing practice for Loeb & Loeb, advising companies on domestic and overseas outsourcing arrangements in the areas of information technology and business process.

Adler will be joined at Loeb & Loeb by Steven A. Semerdjian, another former Thelen outsourcing partner.

The two are the latest in a steady stream of New York defections for San Francisco-based Thelen. In recent months, these have included three of the firm's former name partners, who came aboard through its 2006 merger with New York's Brown Raysman Millstein Felder & Steiner.

The firm is currently seeking another merger partner.
