As case backlogs pile on dockets across the country after courts shut down in response to the coronavirus pandemic, lawyers say they’re weighing best practices for managing client expectations.

But in some cases, they’re missing the mark, according to a legal recruiter, who says the industry is wrestling with frustrated clients, who have increasingly left bad reviews of law firms and attorneys.
