Julio C. Esquivel, the first Hispanic managing partner at Shumaker Loop & Kendrick, will direct the firm’s Tampa office.
The Mexico City native arrived in Miami at 10. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Florida, attended Boalt School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley, and worked for the Securities and Exchange Commission before moving to Tampa 18 years ago and joining Shumaker Loop.
