As governments and economic factors change throughout Latin America, transactional lawyers are keeping an eye on how renewable energy investments flow throughout the region. If the transactional lag in the U.S. continues, attorneys could turn to the region for more deal work.

Countries in South American and the Caribbean are embracing renewable energy as overall demand for energy rises and interest in clean energy persists. Although both trends vary country by country, there’s enough demand to keep some of the transactional slowdown that lawyers in the U.S. face at bay.
