During the first three quarters of the year, lateral hiring tumbled downward throughout the country for both associates and partners, according to data from Decipher. Miami is seeing even less activity than the national average.

Nationally, hiring was down by an average of 28% this year compared to 2022 for both partners and associates. But associates led the charge downward with a 32% decline while partners saw a 29% decrease. In Miami, both averages are down by more than double the national averages.
