Downtown Miami will get 448 new luxury condos thanks to an $80.9 million construction loan arranged by Berkadia, a joint venture of Berkshire Hathaway and Jefferies Financial Group.

The high-rise, 501 First Residences, will be located at NE First Avenue and will offer studio, one- and two-bedroom units that range from 603 square feet to 1,015 square feet.
