Two global companies are strengthening their roots in Brickell’s financial district, as a surge in leasing activity has triggered large rent gains in Miami-Dade County.

According to the Marcus & Millichap’s Miami-Dade Q2 Office Market report, the area has seen the strongest rent growth across major U.S. markets, at 9.4%. The growing talent pool from global firms has prompted the surge, which has seen six consecutive quarters of positive net absorption.
