Lawyers are calculating legal fees for a dispute between Atlanta-based staffing company Insight Global and Marriott International over litigation stemming from a sales conference canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Georgia Statewide Business Court Judge Walter Davis directed the parties to confer regarding Marriott’s request for attorneys’ fees and litigation expenses “related to its successful counterclaim.” Davis also directed Insight to pay a tab of more than $700,000 for a meeting that never happened.
