Florida-based Jared the Galleria of Jewelry is in the hot seat for allegedly misleading customers about its diamonds.

Plaintiff Thomas Kimbro filed a putative class action on behalf of himself and the nationwide and Florida sub-class against defendant Sterling Jewelers Inc., doing business as Jared the Galleria of Jewelry. He accuses the company of overstating diamond weights in jewelry sold in stores and online.
