The U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation consolidated dozens of class action lawsuits filed throughout the country Thursday that were primarily against Robinhood LLC, and transferred the cases to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Sean Burstyn, a partner at Burstyn Law Firm in New York, who is among the attorneys that filed a number of class action lawsuits against Robinhood, was the sole attorney who argued for the transfer of the litigation to the Southern District of Florida, while other parties were arguing for consolidating the litigation in other jurisdictions.
