Genovese Joblove & Battista, a 40-lawyer Miami law firm, has seen a growth spurt lately, amid rising demand in its bankruptcy and litigation practices.

Five associates have joined the firm in August and September — the firm’s largest series of hires at once since its inception in 1999. The attorneys, mostly second- and third-year associates, will work on the firm’s insolvency, commercial and franchise litigation practices.
