A foreclosure attorney whose firm put a judge on hold twice after not attending two case management conferences will get a new hearing after a state appellate court reversed a criminal contempt order against him.

West Palm Beach lawyer Bruce Rosenwater is fighting an order fining him $500 and imposing a 10-day suspended jail sentence. He was defending a client in a foreclosure action by Deutsche Bank National Trust Co., but found himself in the hot seat for failing to appear at case management conferences before St. Lucie Circuit Judge William Roby.
