With a vote on anti–patent troll legislation expected to take place in Congress this week, both supporters and opponents of the bill have been pulling out all the stops as the finish line approaches.
The Innovation Act (H.R. 3309), introduced in October by Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.), is headed to the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives for a vote. While it passed out of the House Judiciary Committee two weeks ago with a strong bipartisan 33-5 vote, forces opposing the bill have been working hard to stop it from passing in the full House.
