A fast-growing nonprofit provider of Medicare Advantage health plans has hired Renée Delphin-Rodriguez, a partner in Crowell & Moring’s Los Angeles office, as chief legal officer.
Long Beach, California-based SCAN Group bills itself as one of the fastest-growing nonprofit Medicare Advantage providers. It plans to operate under the moniker HealthRight Group once it completes a pending merger with Portland, Oregon-based CareOregon that will leave it with $6.8 billion in annual revenue and about 800,000 customers in its Medicare and Medicaid managed care offerings.
