Alongside expected concerns such as artificial intelligence, compliance and data security, a new report by the recruiting firm Major, Lindsey and Africa has found that legal department leaders are increasingly worried about the efficiency of their legal departments.
“As business leaders, GCs need to know whether the internal legal team is operating at peak efficiency and are the right people in the right seats,” according to MLA’s Global In-House Counsel Market Conditions Q2 2023 report.
