In the latest in-house exit at a big bank this year, a Morgan Stanley corporate counsel has moved to become the top lawyer for alternative asset manager Melody Investment Advisors.

The move is part of a string of shuffling and exits among top in-house banking leaders in 2021. Others include Goldman Sachs general counsel Karen Seymour who returned back to Sullivan & Cromwell; Joseph Salama at Deutsche Bank, who moved from U.S. general counsel to the global head of anti-financial crime; Jonathan Polk, who left American Express to serve as the first general counsel of Melio; and Citizen Bank general counsel Stephen Gannon‘s move to the law firm Murphy & McGonigle.
