The chief legal officer and general counsel of Palo Alto, California-based HP Inc., Kim Rivera, will be stepping down from her role at the beginning of February and will be replaced by her deputy general counsel, the company announced in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday.

Beginning Feb. 1, Rivera will serve as a special adviser to the CEO until Dec. 31, 2021. She will be replaced Feb. 1 by Harvey Anderson, who will report directly to HP Inc. president and CEO Enrique Lores.
