The deputy general counsel of Exxon Mobil Corp. has been elected by the company’s board of directors to replace general counsel Randall Ebner when he retires in November, the company announced Thursday.

Craig Morford has served as the company’s deputy general counsel since 2019. It is not clear if he is currently based in the company’s Irving, Texas headquarters. ExxonMobil declined to make Morford and Ebner available for an interview or comment beyond the press release Friday.
