Glympse Inc. is hiring—a lot. The location-sharing startup, founded by former Microsoft employees in 2008, has expanded in the past year with a new chief executive officer, more engineers and now, a new general counsel. At the end of 2016, the company raised more than $11 million to increase head count and growth.

The Seattle-based company brought on Alan Koslow as GC last month. The expanding company wanted to bring its simultaneously expanding docket of legal work in-house. Koslow had been working as an outside legal consultant for Glympse since October, as a trial run for him and for the company, until the parties decided to make his hire official.
