Greenberg Traurig announced the hiring of two Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo energy lawyers on Wednesday, with former Mintz projects and infrastructure practice co-chair Audrey Louison joining the firm in Washington, D.C., and former energy project finance member Eric Macaux joining Greenberg’s Boston office.

The shareholder hires are the second energy practice expansion for Greenberg in the past week, as Big Law looks to energy transition projects for transactional and finance opportunities. On April 28, Greenberg announced the hiring of four Tokyo-based energy and infrastructure shareholders from Hogan Lovells. Latham & Watkins is also staffing up on energy lawyers, having added Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom M&A partner Ethan Schultz and two White & Case project finance partners in the past few weeks.
