Greenberg Traurig announced Friday that former Steptoe & Johnson corporate lawyer and digital asset specialist Will Turner would be joining the Am Law 100 firm’s Chicago office. Turner arrives with a clientele that includes a major token issuer, a blockchain exchange, and other “crypto native” businesses.

Turner joins the firm’s corporate practice as a shareholder, along with its emerging technologies practice and blockchain and digital assets group. In a press release, the co-chair of the latter group said the firm’s clients are increasingly finding commercial opportunities involving cryptocurrencies and blockchain.
