Zhong Lun Law Firm has added three partners to its Shanghai office.
Edward Li is joining Zhong Lun from the Shanghai office of King & Wood Mallesons, where he was also a partner focusing on capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions and private equity investment. Prior to joining the former King & Wood in 2010, Li was a partner in the Hong Kong office of Morrison & Foerster. Before that, he worked for Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton as an associate in Hong Kong and New York.
Michael Shu is joining Zhong Lun from Wan Hui Da Law Firm where he was a senior partner advising on corporate compliance and intellectual property law matters. Shu was previously general counsel for both Gillette (China) Investment Co. Ltd. and Adidas Sports (China) Co. Ltd.
Also moving to Zhong Lun is Zhou Yueping, formerly a senior partner with Shanghai-based Co-effort Law Firm, where she advised on transactions and disputes in the construction and infrastructure sectors. Over the past decade, she has represented state-owned enterprises including Shanghai Shentong Metro Group Co. Ltd., China Railway Construction Corp. and Shanghai Construction Group. She joined Co-effort in 2003.
