A federal judge in Maryland declined to dismiss trade secret and non-compete allegations against a former top-level executive of a nuclear logistics company, finding the plaintiff’s allegations that the ex-employee took confidential information before moving to a role with a direct competitor were detailed enough to proceed.

The defendant, Robert Strang, is the former president of Transport Logistics, Inc. (TLI), which was acquired by Orano in October 2021. Since the closing date of the TLI acquisition, Orano has been integrating TLI’s business into its U.S. nuclear transports business, operated under TN Americas (TNA), the plaintiff in the present matter, TN Americas v. Robert Strang.
