Southwest Airlines Co. is pushing back against four class actions brought by passengers whose flights were canceled during the disruptions of the 2022 holiday season.

Due to extreme winter weather, Southwest Airlines canceled nearly 16,000 flights from Dec. 22 to Jan. 2. In a Jan. 5 statement, CEO Bob Jordan said: We are making great progress by processing tens of thousands of refunds and reimbursements a day and will not let up until we have responded to every impacted customer.”
