The national Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) mean scaled score for February was 132.6, a return to the February 2020 mean after an increase to a mean of 134.0 last February.

The MBE is the 200-question, multiple-choice portion of the exam that is used by most jurisdictions and is scored by the National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE). Individual jurisdictions score the essays and performance tests and calculate pass rates.
