Charles F. Herring, Jr., of Herring & Panzer, L.L.P., in Austin, is an experienced litigator and an expert who has intensively studied the quirks of legal malpractice and lawyer discipline in Texas, including the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct. With years of writing and speaking both in court and at CLE programs under his belt, Mr. Herring understands how to communicate complicated legal issues simply, clearly and thoroughly. He chaired the State Bar’s Special Committee for the Prevention of Legal Malpractice and taught at the Texas Center for Legal Ethics for many years. He served as Chair of the Texas Supreme Court’s Statewide Sanctions Task Force and as a member of its Advisory Committee and Grievance Oversight Committee. Jason M. Panzer
Jason M. Panzer, of Herring & Panzer, L.L.P., has spent much of his career litigating legal malpractice cases and handling lawyer-discipline cases across Texas. He is a 1996 Honors graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, and is a frequent lecturer at CLE events. Mr. Panzer served as briefing attorney at the Third Court of Appeals, and was named a Rising Star, Texas Super Lawyers—Professional Liability (2010). He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas School of Law.
