Two people injured when their vehicle was struck by a transport van settled their Middlesex County suit, Welsh v. Fu, for $1.15 million on June 6.

According to the suit, Adam Welsh and Alexis Kovaleski were injured after a passenger van operated Fei Wu for SEWA Adult Day Care ran a stop sign and crashed into their causing multiple injuries. On Sept. 10, 2018, Welsh was driving Kovaleski’s sedan on County Road 612 when a SEWA Adult Day Care passenger van operated by Wu failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Spotswood Gravel Hill Road. Both eyewitnesses as well as the van’s event data recorder confirmed that Wu made no attempt to stop at the intersection prior to the crash, according to James A. Maggs and Victoria J. Adornetto of Maggs McDermott & DiCicco in Wall Township.
